Twisted fates gnarl wood
in silent growth; what chance
that one should bend another?

to take deeper breaths

Easy blessing - seeing
long lives earning permanence,
yet so vulnerable.

[Re]

Not knowing others,
how could a struggling tree tell
his fate from bare bliss?

A moment or years,
gardener, writer, passerby
delight in the rose.

Below,
a collage of a Moldovan kelim pattern and a hibiscus bonsai of Walter Pall; edited by WP by lighting up the kelin. [HERE].
I happen to believe both have a few things in common: the red flowers and the tinge of kitsch that amounts to enjoyable accessibility inside the tradition that motivates the considerable effort required to produce such objects in the first place.
